The church, consecrated on November 21, 1953, was designed by architect Isidore Engler . On the facade above the main entrance is a large high relief of the Virgin Mary ( Mother of God ) portrayed as a queen.

The mosaic in the choir was made by Jean Barillet from Paris and shows the coronation of Our Lady by the Trinity . The font was designed by Emile Hulten . Frantz Kinnen's windows depict biblical scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary.

In the gallery there is an organ with 15 registers which was built by the "Manufacture d'orgues luxembourgeoise" from Lintgen under the direction of Georg Westenfelder . The organ was inaugurated on November 21, 1987.

There are three bells hanging in the church tower that ring in the b ', a' and f sharp.

Next to the church on the west side ( Monnerecher Straße ) is an old, weathered stone wayside cross.
