Johanna Miesenberger

Johanna Miesenberger (born July 19, 1974 in Linz ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). Since September 19, 2019, she has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

After elementary school, Johanna Miesenberger attended the Pregarten secondary school in the village of Selker in the Pregarten community and then in 1988/89 the Erla home economics school. She then completed an apprenticeship in operations and household management. From 2006 to 2008 she attended a master class at the agricultural college in Freistadt . She has been a freelance farmer since 1997 and runs her parents' farm in Selker.

From 2008 to 2014 she was a local farmer , since 2009 she has been a chamber councilor in the Chamber of Agriculture , and since 2013 she has also been the district farmer of the farmers' union in the Freistadt district . In Pregarten she has been a member of the local council since 2011. She ran for the ÖVP in the 2013 National Council election and the 2015 state election .

Since September 19, 2019, she has been a member of the Federal Council delegated by the Upper Austrian Landtag . She moved up for Anton Froschauer , who moved to the state parliament. In August 2020, she was elected alongside Johanna Jachs as deputy to ÖVP district party chairman Josef Naderer in the Freistadt district and as deputy to Upper Austria's regional farmer.

Miesenberger is married and has three children.
