Marie Antoinette von Blanckart

Marie Antoinette von Blanckart (* 1730 , † March 22, 1803 in Alsdorf ) was a Neuss canoness and later wife of the French military and statesman Louis Nicolas Victor de Félix d'Ollières .

Life

Marie Antoinette came from the noble family Blankart and entered the Neuss cannon convent . In the 1750s she met Dumuy in Düsseldorf , but was not able to marry him until 1774 in Versailles. When the French Revolution broke out , she returned to Alsdorf in 1789, widowed, where she died in 1803 and an epitaph was erected for her in the burial chapel of the lords of the castle there.
