Marie Pascale Osterrieth
Marie Pascale Osterrieth actually Marie Pascale Claire Xavier Osterrieth (born May 15, 1956 in Basoko , since 1997 Democratic Republic of the Congo ) is a Belgian-French film producer , director , screenwriter and cultural worker who lives in Paris .
life and career
Marie Pascale Osterrieth was born as the second daughter of Paul Osterrieth (* 1927) and Odette Laloux (* 1922) in the former colony of the Belgian Congo . She had four siblings and married Henri Pierre Marie Rabourdin on September 22, 1990 in Paris (born June 12, 1955 in Versailles). The couple has two children.
Osterrieth spent her childhood in Liège and studied directing and film production at the “Institut national supérieur des Arts du Spectacle et des Techniques de Diffusion” (INSAS) at a “Graduate School of Arts” (art college) in Brussels . She is a film producer and director and was Secretary General of TF1 Film Production. Since 2011, the play Men and Other Mistakes by her and Michèle Bergier has been successfully performed on German theater stages.
In addition to her studies, Marie Pascale Osterrieth has already created a number of sets and costumes for theater performances and short films. Her first film productions included the Belgian drama Le Grand Paysage d'Alexis Droeven , directed by Jean-Jacques Andrien . After graduating, Osterrieth moved to France and was employed by TF1 Films Production.
In May 1997 she founded the maison de production Charlice together with Michèle Bernier, in which the film Le Démon de midi was made. She directed the comedy show Les Bodin’s and the show Jean-Luc Lemoine .
