As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Gebhardsreuth was listed as part of the Moosbach parish with 15 houses and 64 inhabitants. On December 31, 1990, Gebhardsreuth had 57 inhabitants and belonged to the Moosbach parish.

Culture and sights

Gebhardtsreuth has a mother Anna chapel built in 1950 . This was desecrated on July 26, 2018 and is to be demolished. A new village chapel was built to replace it in 2017.
