Hechtlmühle is a part of the municipality of Markt Moosbach in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab , Bavaria .

Geographical location

Hechtlmühle is located at the confluence of the Loisbach in the Pfreimd about two and a half kilometers northeast of Moosbach.

history

The Hechtlmühle belonged to the Landgraves of Leuchtenberg in the 16th century and was an electoral fief. Its name comes from Georg Höchtl, to whom it belonged in 1709. From 1808, the Hechtlmühle was part of the Gröbenstädt tax district, from 1821 part of the Gebhardsreuth community, from 1830 part of the Gröbenstädt community and from 1971 it belonged to the Moosbach market. As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Hechtlmühle was listed as part of the Moosbach parish with one house and three residents. On December 31, 1990, Hechtlmühle had two residents and belonged to the Moosbach parish. As of December 31, 2012, Hechtlmühle was no longer listed among the inhabited districts of Moosbach.
