Rückersrieth is part of the Moosbach market in the Upper Palatinate district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab , Bavaria .

Geographical location

Rückersrieth is located on the northeast slope of the 771 m high ant hill, on the slopes of which the Viertelbach rises south of Rückersrieth and the Eulenbach north of Rückersrieth. Both brooks flow to the east and flow into the Tröbesbach, which flows east of Rückersrieth from south to north.

history

Rückersrieth (as Rvkersrivt) was first mentioned in writing in 1285 in the Duke's Surbar as the property of Duke Ludwig II of Upper Bavaria .

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Rückersrieth was listed as part of the exposed Etzgersrieth cooperative with 23 houses and 113 residents. In 1975 a St. Laurentius chapel was built in Rückersrieth . On December 31, 1990, Rückersrieth had 91 inhabitants and belonged to the Etzgersrieth branch .
