Geographical location
The desert Ödhof is three kilometers northeast of Moosbach.
history
Ödhof was first mentioned in writing in 1255. In 1336, Ödhof was part of the Propstei Böhmischbruck with about eight courtyards . In the 16th century it was desolate and in 1593 it was referred to as the "Öd von Höffler". The desolation of Höflern belonged to the Leuchtenberg fiefdom. In 1605 there was another farm in Ödhof. In 1821 Ödhof was part of the Isgier community and from 1830 it was part of Burkhardsrieth. Ödhof belonged to Markt Moosbach from July 1, 1972. On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Ödhof was listed as part of the Moosbach parish with two houses and 15 residents. On December 31, 1990, Ödhof had eight residents and belonged to the Moosbach parish.
