Geographical location
Gaisheim is located on State Road 2160 on an open area that slopes gently from the slopes of the 687 m high Bromberg, the 750 m high Stangenberg and the 693 m high Geisbühl to the northwest Tröbes .
history
The former Hofmark Gaisheim was first mentioned in 1353 as a Leuchtenberg fief. As of March 23, 1913 (Easter), Gaisheim was listed as part of the Moosbach parish with 21 houses and 75 inhabitants. On December 31, 1990, Gaisheim had 74 inhabitants and belonged to the Moosbach parish.
Culture and sights
The Glasschleifererweg and the fairytale hiking trail lead via Gaisheim. In the place there is a former noble seat .
