Tröbes is a church village in the northern Upper Palatinate and a part of the municipality of Markt Moosbach . It is about 4 km southeast of Moosbach. In the center of the village is the Catholic Church of St. John . With 40 properties and 144 inhabitants (as of June 2007) is Tröbes the fourth largest city of the municipality Moosbach.

history

Until the 16th century the place was called "Droschenreuth", belonged to the St. Emmeram monastery in Regensburg and was administered by the provost office of Böhmischbruck . In 1590 the place was mentioned as "Trebeß". Tröbes was together with Waltenrieth from 1821 on a community. In 1961 a new school building was inaugurated. School operations were discontinued in 1969 or affiliated to the Moosbach secondary school. The school building was opened in 1977 by the Caritasverband Kempen-Viersen e. V. and became privately owned in 2003. The foundation stone for the Catholic Church of St. John in the center of the village took place on August 13, 1933, the inauguration was on June 24, 1934. The church received an organ in 1952. The church tower was only added in 1968. In 2005 extensive renovation and reconstruction work was carried out on the church.

In 1939 the previously independent municipalities of Gaisheim and Rückersrieth and parts of the area of ​​the dissolved municipality of the Netherlands were incorporated. On January 1, 1972 Tröbes was integrated into the Moosbach market.
