The wasteland of Pielhof is three and a half kilometers northeast of Moosbach.
history
In 1336 there was a farm in Pielhof, which was recorded in the Salbuch of the Sankt Emmeram monastery in Regensburg and which belonged to the administration of the provost of Böhmischbruck . In 1562 a rebuilt farm in Pielhof was mentioned in writing. During the War of the Austrian Succession , the area around Pielhof suffered greatly from the Austrian army led by Field Marshal Franz Leopold von Nádasdy . On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Pielhof was listed as part of the Burkhardsrieth branch , belonging to the Pleystein parish , with one house and seven residents. On December 31, 1990 Pielhof had six inhabitants and belonged to the Burkhardsrieth branch of the parish of Pleystein.
