Wieskirche
The Wieskirche stands in front of the western outskirts of Grub in the direction of Moosbach. It was built in 1752 as a pilgrimage church for the pilgrims who came to this place to see a figure of the scourged Savior . This figure was a copy of the representation in the Wieskirche Steingaden, which was brought here by Elisabeth Hüttner from Moosbach and initially set up in a field chapel .
In 1769 the church tower was completed.
The interior of the Wieskirche was designed in the Baroque and Rococo styles by local artists. The image of grace is in a case above the tabernacle . On the right side altar stands a figure of St. Francis between St. Ignatius and St. Francis Xavier . The left side altar shows a figure of the Mother of God between St. Ottilia and St. Clare . Numerous votive offerings from the pilgrims represent the concerns of the pilgrims.
