Marie von Rabatinsky
Marie von Rabatinsky ( 1842 in Pest - after 1872) was an opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
Rabatinsky worked at the Pest National Theater before she joined the Association of the Court Opera Theater in Vienna in 1866, where the artist, who not only had a piquant appearance but also a brilliant coloratura, was extremely popular. She sang Irene in the Vienna premiere of Wagner's Rienzi (1871). In 1872 she left the ranks of the first members of the Vienna Court Opera. She married a factory owner and retired to Nordhausen .
