Marian column (Rottenbuch)
The Marian column in Rottenbuch , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau , was built in the 17th century. The Marian column in the courtyard of the Rottenbuch monastery, which was secularized in 1803, is a protected architectural monument .
The sandstone Marian column was originally part of a fountain that was converted into a war memorial in 1873 after the Franco-Prussian War .
