Marija Michailowna Kostelowskaja ( Russian Мария Михайловна Костеловская ; * 1878 in Ufa ; † January 29, 1964 in Moscow ) was a Russian revolutionary.

Life

MM Kostelowskaja became a member of the Bolsheviks in 1903 . In 1905 she took part in the preparation of the uprising on the cruiser "Ochakov" in the Crimea. She did party work in Lugansk, Orenburg and Moscow. After the February Revolution of 1917 , she was the party organizer in charge of the Moscow Presnya district. She was a delegate to the VII Conference of the Bolsheviks in April 1917. During the October Uprising, she was deputy chief of staff of the Red Guard of the Moscow Soviet. After the October Revolution , she worked as the chairman of the Military Food Bureau. In 1919 she was head of the Political Department of the Red Army , then deputy chairwoman of the Revolutionary Military Committee in Donbass and secretary of the Baumanny District Committee of the Communist Party in Moscow.

From 1946 she was a retiree.
