Marina Lange

Marina Lange - birth name Marina Nylhof - (* approx. 1948) is a former table tennis player from the GDR. She was GDR champion five times.

Under her maiden name Marina Nylhof, she played for the ASK Vorwärts Berlin club in the early 1960s and took part in the 1966 European Youth Championship in Szombathely. Here she and Ulla Czech (after marriage Ulla Brandt) reached the final in doubles, which was lost to the Yugoslav couple Tatjana Jecmenica / Mirjana Resler. With the women's team of TSC Berlin, which was renamed BSG Außenhandel Berlin in 1967 (a forerunner of today's Ttc berlin eastside ), Nylhof won the GDR championship in 1965, 1967, 1988 and 1969. In 1968 and 1969 the team won the European Cup .

After their marriage in 1970 she played under the name Marina Lange . In 1975 she was GDR champion in doubles with Gabriele Geißler , in mixed she won bronze with Norbert Drescher . In 1972 she was third in doubles with Ulla Czech and in mixed with Ronald Raue .
