The Eckernförde naval base command is an office of the German Navy in Schleswig-Holstein at the Eckernförde naval base .

tasks

The task of the command is to supply the commands and facilities of the Navy belonging to the Eckernförde naval base and all the floating units calling at the base . The command includes the only multi-purpose landing craft “Lachs” (L 762) still in the German Navy .

organization

The Eckernförde naval base command has been an independent agency since 2003. Before that it was a branch of the naval base in Kiel . Since 2012, the Eckernförde naval base command has been subordinate to Flotilla 1 in Kiel.
