Mario Gigante

Mario Gigante (born November 4, 1923 ) is a high member of the American Cosa Nostra in New York City and was head of the Genovese family .

Gigante is one of five sons of watchmaker Salvatore Gigante and seamstress Yolanda Gigante, who immigrated to New York City from Naples . He is the older brother of the former head of the family Vincent Gigante . Due to his age, it is assumed that he will retire as boss; the next head is Daniel Leo .
