Mario Probst

Mario Probst (born November 1,  1978 in Filderstadt ) is a former German basketball player and official.

career

The 1.83 meter tall player played basketball in Ludwigsburg as a teenager, in 1999 he moved to SV 03 Tübingen, with whom he was promoted from the 2nd basketball league  to the basketball league in 2001  . In the 2001/02 game year he was used for Tübingen in 22 games in the highest German league and scored an average of 2.6 points per encounter. This was followed by two years with the second division TuS Jena from 2002 to 2004 , in the 2004/05 season he strengthened FC Bayern Munich  also in the 2nd Bundesliga, from 2005 to 2007 he played for the second division club TSV Nördlingen .

In 2007 he took over the post of sports coordinator at the Bundesliga club and from 2013 he was head of the Ludwigsburg basketball academy, taking care of the youth work. In October 2017, Probst was hired by the Ditzingen-based company Loba GmbH & Co. KG as head of the marketing and communications department.
