Marion Thuswald

Marion Thuswald (* 1978 in Amstetten ) is an Austrian educational scientist .

Career

Marion Thuswald graduated from the Federal Institute for Social Education in St. Pölten and studied education in Vienna . She is involved in adult education and intercultural and feminist education. From 1997 to 1998 Thuswald worked as a volunteer for the Austrian Peace Service in a peace project for young people in the war-torn town of Vukovar . Back in Austria she became an employee and later a member of the board of the Austrian Peace Services. Marion Thuswald was nominated in 2005 for her work at the Austrian Peace Service in Vukovar among 1000 women for the Nobel Peace Prize 2005 for the Nobel Peace Prize. Thuswald has been working as a university assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna for the department of art and cultural education since 2009 .
