Marisa Luisa Park (born August 25, 1991 in Alexandria , Virginia ) is an American - Filipino soccer player.

Life

Park was born in Alexandria in 1991 and grew up in neighboring Great Falls , Virginia. She attended Langley High School in Fairfax County for four years and graduated from high school in 2008. In the fall of 2009, she enrolled in Wake Forest University to study .

Soccer career

Park began her career in 2005 with the RFC United team of Reston FC in Reston , Virginia and reached the 2007 State Cup Final. During her time at Reston FC, she played for three years on the women's soccer team at Langley High School, where she was named Saxons Most Valuable Player in 2007. Park enrolled at Wake Forest University in the fall of 2009 and has since played 89 games for the Demon Deacons Women Soccer Team.

International

Park was first nominated for the Philippine women's national soccer team for the LA Viking Cup in the fall of 2012 .

Basketball career

In 2004 Park played on the Saxons Women's Basketball team at Langley High School.
