Marius Skarupskas

Marius Skarupskas (born September 26, 1981 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian politician, Vice Minister .

Life

After graduating from high school in Veisiejai in the district of Lazdijai in 2000, Skarupskas completed a bachelor's degree in information technology from 2000 to 2004 and in 2006 studied public relations at the communication faculty of the Vilniaus universitetas (VU). From 2002 to 2005 he was a journalist and marketing manager at UAB “Naujosios komunikacijos Leidyba”. From 2005 to 2008 he worked at UAB "Veritana". From 2009 to 2010 he taught change management as a lecturer at VU.

From 2008 to 2013 was Head of Department for business licensing and permits the municipality of Vilnius City Municipality . Since 2013 he has been the Deputy Minister of Economy of Lithuania , Deputy Minister Birutė Vėsaitė in the Butkevičius cabinet . He has been a member of the Vilnius Municipality Council since April 22, 2015 .

Skarupskas is a member of Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija , board member of Lietuvos socialdemokratinio jaunimo sąjunga .

Skarupskas is single.
