Mark Borissowitsch Mitin ( Russian Марк Борисович Митин ; born July 5, 1901 in Zhytomyr , Ukraine , † January 15, 1987 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) was a Soviet historian and philosopher .

Life

Mitin was a Komsomol functional in the 1920s, and in 1929 he graduated from the Philosophical Department of the Institute of the Red Professorship . From 1930 to 1944 he was editor-in-chief of the magazine Unter dem Banner des Marxismus , from 1939 to 1944 director of the Institute for Marxism-Leninism at the Central Committee of the CPSU .
