Mark Carwardine

Mark Carwardine (born March 9, 1959 ) is a British zoologist . He worked for nature conservation organizations such as the WWF until 1986 and has been a freelance non-fiction author , photographer and zoologist ever since . Above all, his pictures of dolphins and whales made him known. Carwardine is co-author of The Last of Their Kind , which he wrote with Douglas Adams .

For six years he presented the weekly radio program Nature for the British BBC . Even today he occasionally produces radio and television programs about nature and its protection and is still involved in nature conservation organizations.
