Mark Davies (born May 12, 1959 in Manchester , United Kingdom ) is Bishop of Shrewsbury .
Life
Mark Davies received the sacrament of ordination for the Diocese of Salford on February 11, 1984 .
On December 22nd, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to Coadjutor Bishop of Shrewsbury. The Bishop of Shrewsbury, Brian Michael Noble , gave him on 22 February 2011, the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Liverpool , Patrick Kelly , and the Bishop of Salford, Terence Brain . On October 1, 2010, Mark Davies became Bishop of Shrewsbury, succeeding Brian Michael Noble, who was retiring for old age.
