Peter John Haworth Doyle
Peter John Haworth Doyle (born May 3, 1944 in Blackburn , United Kingdom ) is a British clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Northampton .
Life
Peter John Haworth Doyle received the sacrament of ordination for the Diocese of Portsmouth on June 8, 1968 .
On May 24, 2005 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Northampton. The Archbishop of Westminster , Cormac Cardinal Murphy-O'Connor , donated him episcopal ordination on June 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Portsmouth, Crispian Hollis , and the Bishop of Clifton , Declan Ronan Lang .
On January 8, 2020, Pope Francis accepted Peter John Haworth Doyle's resignation due to reasons of age.
