Mark Mallory (born April 2, 1962 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is an American politician and since December 1, 2005 the 68th Mayor of Cincinnati.

Mallory studied at the University of Cincinnati , where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1994 he was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives. He replaced his father William L. Mallory, Sr. , who was retiring after a long political career in the state parliament. Mallory served in the House of Representatives for two terms and was elected to the Ohio Senate in 1998 . One of his greatest achievements as a Senator was in 2003 when the Ohio Parliament ratified the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution. This act was purely symbolic, however, as the Amendment had been a valid part of the United States Constitution since July 28, 1868 .

In 2005 Mallory was elected mayor of Cincinnati to succeed Charlie Luken and was sworn in as the 68th incumbent on December 1, 2005. He is the first mayor in more than 70 years who was not previously on the Cincinnati City Council.
