Mark Anthony Pembridge (born November 29, 1970 in Merthyr Tydfil ) is a retired Welsh football player . The 1.7 meter tall Pembridge played in midfield .

Career

Pembridge began his career at Luton Town in 1989. In 1992 he moved to Derby County , which he left in 1995 for Sheffield Wednesday . In 1998 Pembridge went abroad to Benfica Lisbon . In 1999 the left midfielder returned to England for Everton FC . In 2003 he finally moved to Fulham , where he stayed until his retirement in 2007. Since 2017 he has been active as a coach for various junior teams at Fulham FC.

Pembridge played a total of 46 times for the Welsh national football team .
