Mark Priestley

Mark Priestley (born August 9, 1976 in Perth , Western Australia , † August 27, 2008 in Sydney , New South Wales ) was an Australian actor .

Life

Priestley studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art until 1999 . The following year he initially had a supporting role in the television series Water Rats - Die Hafencops . This was followed by a first major engagement in the mini-series The Farm and a first guest appearance in the series All Saints, which ran continuously from 1998 to 2009 . From 2005 until his death Priestley played the role of Dan Goldman in the series .

On August 27, 2008, Priestley was found dead on the awning of a shop, having recently checked into an adjoining hotel under a different name. It is believed that Priestley died of suicide as a result of depression .
