Mark Richardson (musician)
Mark Richardson (born May 28, 1970 in Leeds , Yorkshire , England ) is a British drummer , best known for his work with the rock groups Skunk Anansie and Feeder .
Before joining Skunk Anansie, Richardson played for the Little Angels (1993, album "Jam"). After separating from Skunk Anansie, Richardson took over the post of feeder drummer John Lee, who died in 2002 through suicide. His first appearance with Feeder was a warm-up gig for the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2002 at the Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms on August 21st.
On May 6, 2009, Feeder and Richardson announced the end of their collaboration on the band's homepage. Richardson subsequently rejoined his old, reunited band, Skunk Anansie.
Mark Richardson also teaches as a visiting professor at music colleges in Guildford , Surrey and Brighton , Sussex .
