Marko Kemppainen (born July 13, 1976 in Kajaani ) is a former Finnish sports shooter .
successes
Marko Kemppainen achieved third place in the skeet at the World Championships in Cairo in 2001 , eight years later he was runner- up with the team in Maribor . In between he took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , where he met all goals in qualifying and set the world record with 125 points. In the final he scored a further 24 points and had to play against Andrea Benelli with the same number of points . Benelli scored five goals while Kemppainen only hit four goals, taking the silver medal in second ahead of third-placed Juan Miguel Rodríguez . Both2015 European Games in Baku he won another bronze medal.
Kemppainen is married and has three children.
