Juan Miguel Rodríguez Martínez (born May 26, 1967 in Havana ) is a former Cuban marksman .

successes

Juan Miguel Rodríguez took part in four Olympic Games in skeet . In 1996 he finished eighth in Atlanta , four years later he did not get past 39th place in Sydney . At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , he moved into the final after a successful jump-off, in which he scored 147 points like Nasser Al-Attiyah and Shawn Dulohery . Dulohery missed the sixth goal in the jump-off, so the decision for bronze fell between Al-Attiyah and Rodríguez. Al-Attiyah also missed tenth goal, while Rodríguez scored to secure bronze. In 2016 he finished the games in Rio de Janeiro in 26th place.

At world championships Rodríguez won bronze in team competition in 1987 in Valencia , 1989 in Montecatini Terme and 1990 in Moscow . In 1997 in Lima and 1999 in Tampere he was runner-up with her. At the Pan American Games , he won the gold medal in Winnipeg in 1999 . He also won silver in Mar del Plata in 1995, and bronze in Guadalajara in 2011 and in Toronto in 2015 .

Rodríguez is divorced and has four children.
