Marko Mladjan (also Marko Mlađan, Cyrillic: Марко Млађан; born March 26, 1993 in Lugano ) is a Swiss basketball player of Serbian descent. He belongs to the squad of the national league team Lions de Genève and is the brother of Dusan Mladjan .

Player career

After stints at BC 79 Arbedo and SP Star Gobola, Mladjan played for the Lugano Tigers in the National League A from the 2010/11 season . With the Ticino team, he was Swiss champion and cup winner in 2011 and 2012. This was followed by stops at other NLA clubs, Massagno, Friborg and Monthey. He established himself as one of the best players in the league and was named the best local player in the national league by the internet service eurobasket.com in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

After a detour to the top Slovenian club Union Olimpija Ljubljana at the beginning of the 2016/17 season, he returned to Switzerland and signed with the Lions de Genève in December 2016 .

National team

Mladjan wore the shirt of the Swiss national team in the age groups U16, U18 and U20 before he was called up to the men's "Nati".
