Market hall (concrete bazoches)

Former covered market in Beton-Bazoches

The market hall in Beton-Bazoches , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the 16th century. The former market hall on Place de l'Église was built by the landlord Louis Fretel for the weekly market and three annual markets in January, June and September.

The half-timbered market hall with arched gates was used for markets until the revolution and then bought by a private person who donated it to the community.

The converted and renovated building is still used by the community as a storage room today.
