The market hall in Égreville , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France , was originally built in the late 15th century. The market hall has been classified as a monument historique since 1912 .

description

The market hall is in the same place where it was in the 12./13. A previous building was built in the 19th century, which was destroyed in a fire in 1273.

In 1638, when the building was renovated, the 28 wooden pillars on which the wooden structure rests were placed on stone foundations. This prevents damage caused by moisture. The hall , which is open on all sides, has a stone gable side , which are opened by round arches.
