The house at Marktstrasse 30 is a listed building in Wernigerode in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the southern part of downtown Wernigerode at the southern end of Marktstrasse . The listed building is adjacent to Marktstrasse 28 to the northwest .
Architecture and history
The southern part of Marktstrasse between Kanzleistrasse and Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Strasse was owned by the Zeißberg family at the beginning of the 20th century and only two buildings were built on. In 1904 the buildings were torn down and new construction started. In the period up to 1911, the buildings along the street were built, including the Marktstraße 30 building.
The three-storey residential and commercial building was built in a massive Art Nouveau style. In front of the two upper floors and the attic is a half- timbered bay window , at its lower end there is a figurative decoration in the plaster. The top floor is also designed as a framework.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 107 40 143 .
