The house market street 8a is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt belonging to the district town of Gernrode .

It is located in Gernröder's old town on the north side of Marktstrasse and is listed as a residential building in the local register of monuments. Immediately to the west of the building is the Mohs monument to the mineralogist Friedrich Mohs .
Architecture and history
The two-storey plastered building dates from the 17th century. It is covered with a high hipped roof and its gable faces the Marktstrasse. The ground floor of the house is made of rubble stones .
