Markus Bader (born November 14, 1988 ) is an Austrian cross-country skier .

Career

Bader made his debut in the Cross Country World Cup in December 2008 in Davos , where he finished the sprint in 88th place. He achieved his first top ten result in the Alpine Cup with 6th place in the Métabief sprint in March 2009. In March 2010, he achieved his first podium finish in a Continental Cup race with second place in the Slavic Cup sprint in Welsberg-Taisten . Bader achieved his first World Cup points with 28th place in the sprint in Liberec in January 2011. At the 2011 World Championships in Oslo , he finished 54th in the sprint. In February 2015 he started again in the sprint at the World Championships in Falun and finished the competition in 47th place.
