Markus Föderl

Markus Föderl (born May 29, 1964 in Linz , Austria ) is an Austrian editor and television presenter .

Career

Föderl studied in his native city of Linz and Salzburg Jus and ran from 1984 training as editor and presenter at the Austrian Broadcasting ORF . Until 1992 he worked on various stations for ORF. Then he moved to the editorial office of the newly founded news channel n-tv in Berlin . There he worked as a reporter and chief on duty .

Markus Föderl-Höbenreich has been married to the journalist Alexandra Föderl-Schmid since 1993 .

In 1997, Markus Föderl became editor of the ZDF morning magazine . He returned to n-tv a year later as deputy editor-in-chief. From January 2001 to September 30, 2007 he was the station's editor-in-chief . He then took an adviser for the Swiss Broadcasting true, moved in September 2008 to the production company TV 21 by Sabine Christiansen , where he was until 2011 editorial director. Since then, Markus Föderl has been advising executives from politics, business and science on media issues. His focus is on coaching for all forms of public appearance - from interviews and speeches to press conferences and general meetings. Föderl is an advisory board member of the Berlin Media Professional School and a founding member of the BELA Foundation .
