Markus Hofmeier (born October 7, 1993 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with FV Bad Vilbel since the 2017/18 season .

Career

He made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga at the age of 17 on September 23, 2011 in the game against Eintracht Braunschweig , when he came on as a substitute at the beginning of the second half. After his second professional assignment, he had to pause for a long time after tearing a syndesmosis ligament and a torn capsule in his right ankle during training in early October , and was only able to return to training shortly before the winter break. In the course of the season, as in the following season 2012/13, he did not come to further appearances in the second division team.

In the summer of 2013, Hofmeier moved to regional division Wormatia Worms for one season .
