Markus Schneider (journalist)
Markus Schneider (born February 9, 1960 ) is a Swiss journalist and book author .
Life
He wrote mainly for Die Weltwoche about politics and economics. His 2004 white paper was a bestseller. The focus was on the demand for a flat tax for Switzerland .
Together with the two art directors Wendelin Hess and Beat Müller , he founded the real-time publishing company based in Basel .
In the summer of 2007, Markus Schneider suffered two strokes after heart surgery . He wrote the book Grimassenherz about these experiences .
Today he is active again as a journalist for the Swiss family .
