Markus Weiß-Latzko (born July 6, 1984 ) is a German athlete . He began his sporting career as a middle-distance runner and cross-country runner and ran the marathon distance for the first time in 2011 at the Berlin Marathon. As the best German runner, he achieved a German best time of the year in 2:19:03 hours. Weiß-Latzko has been working for the Sparda team in Rechberghausen since 2013 . The lawyer works as a doctoral student at the University of Tübingen .
