Marlena Schön (born May 16, 1987 in Gießen ) is a German basketball player. She graduated from the Liebig School in Giessen and studied law at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen. Her basketball career began in 1996 with VfB Gießen , moved to TSV Krofdorf-Gleiberg and finally to BC Marburg . She is 1.69 m tall and is used as a builder ( guard ) and winger ( forward ). At BC Marburg she initially played in the 2nd team in the 2nd women's basketball league and after the team's relegation in the 1st regional league . From the 2004/05 season she was also used in the 1st team in the 1st women's basketball league .

Schön was a U20 youth national player and was German champion in the shoot-out competition in streetball in 2003 .

In the regional league game on October 12, 2007 (one week before the 2007 season opening of the 1st DBBL), she tore a cruciate ligament and fell out of the 2007/2008 season and, after another injury, the 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 seasons. From the 2010/2011 season up to and including the 2012/2013 season, she was used exclusively in the BC Marburg regional league team. In the 2013/2014 season she was back in the Bundesliga team, but injured again. As an assistant coach she trained together with head coach Jenny Unger and Birte Schaake the WNBL-Team Mittelhessen, which became German runner-up in 2014.
