Birte Schaake

Birte Schaake (born February 26, 1960 in Cuxhaven ) is a German basketball trainer and former basketball player.

Life

She comes from Cuxhaven and lives in Grünberg . Birte Schaake is married and has two children, one of whom is the national basketball player Finja Schaake .

Birte Schaake is a secondary school teacher at the Theo-Koch-Schule Grünberg and active in the sport of basketball there. She is also the chair of the school sports commission of the German Basketball Federation .

Birte Schaake has coached various teams in the women's basketball leagues and the WNBL . In the 2009/10 season she was German runner- up with the Central Hesse team .
