Marlene Albrecht (born March 13, 1988 ) is a former Swiss curler .

Career

2003/04 she reached the 2nd place in the junior women of the Swiss Championships. At the Curling Junior World Championships 2007 in Eveleth , USA, she played as an alternate for the Swiss team. The team reached the 5th place.

At the 2011 European Curling Championships she played third in the team of Binia Feltscher-Beeli and was seventh. At the 2013 World Cup she played for Silvana Tirinzoni and came in fifth. Also with Tirinzoni, she took part in the 2017 European Championships in St. Gallen ; the Swiss women took fourth place.

Together with Silvana Tirinzoni, Esther Neuenschwander , Manuela Siegrist and Jenny Perret she took part in the 2018 Olympic Winter Games . After four wins and five defeats in the Round Robin , she came fifth with the Swiss women's team.

In spring 2018, she announced her retirement from top curling.

Private life

In 2011 she stood in the 2011 National Council elections for the Bülach district . She works as a yoga teacher.
