Michael Marquardt GmbH & Co. KG (company name: Marquardt Küchen) is a manufacturer and retailer of German kitchen furniture and kitchen equipment with headquarters in Emleben , Thuringia. The company has its own granite factory and specializes in processing quartz and natural stone slabs in kitchens .

With around 600 employees and trading partners, 38 work studios and its own granite factory, Marquardt Küchen is represented throughout Germany. The majority of the work studios are located in North Rhine-Westphalia , Bavaria , Baden-Württemberg , the Hamburg region and Berlin . The company's other work studios are spread across Saxony , Thuringia and Hesse .
history
In 1991 Michael Marquardt founded the company Marquardt Küchen and shortly afterwards opened the first shop with 12 employees in Emleben, Thuringia . In 1998, the extension was made the main plant for the production of granite -Anfertigungen. In 2000, the “Glass Granite Hall” opened as a supplement to the factory for the presentation of natural stone types from all over the world for self-selection. In 2006 the company had working studios in Germany , Sydney and Denmark . In 2007 Michael Marquardt sold his company to Culinoma GmbH, which belongs to the De Mandemakers group. In 2008 Oliver Barth took over the management.
2009–2013 opened ten additional work studios. In 2014, the Marquardt Küchen company was the only German kitchen supplier to receive the rating "Very Good" in four of five categories from the business magazine Focus Money . In 2016 the Marquardt Küchen company celebrated its 25th anniversary. In 2017, Marquardt Küchen aimed to expand with a new franchise system in Germany and grew to a total of 34 working studios. In 2018–2019 another 4 work studios were opened. The number of total work studios grew to 39 locations. In 2019, Marquardt Küchen was repeatedly awarded a “Very Good” in four out of five categories by the business magazine Focus Money in the Germany Test.
Products
The company produces and sells fitted kitchens in the middle and upper price segment in Germany and the Netherlands - with granite and branded appliances from German manufacturers. Marquardt Küchen's range extends over 75 types of natural and quartz stone, which are sourced from mining areas around the world and then processed into kitchen worktops in our own granite factory. The Marquardt natural stone worktop system is used in this processing process, which can withstand loads of up to 2.1 tons. In addition to the natural stone range, Marquardt Kitchens offers modernizations for existing kitchens with natural stone . In addition to kitchen worktops made of granite , worktops made of ceramic , glass or laminate are also offered.

Marquardt Küchen is a training company certified by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce , which annually trains junior staff in the profession of clerk in retail and office clerk.
