Marrit Steenbergen (born January 11, 2000 in Ooststellingwerf ) is a Dutch swimmer . She is considered one of the greatest hopes for young talent in Europe and won six medals at the 2015 European Games .

In Baku she won five silver medals - over 50 and 200 m freestyle as well as with the Dutch 4 × 100 m and 4 × 200 m freestyle relay and finally in the 4 × 100 m individual medley quartet. There was gold in the supreme discipline of 100 m freestyle in 53.97 s, ahead of two Russian women.

At the 2015 World Swimming Championships in Kazan, Russia, she helped her colleagues Ranomi Kromowidjojo , Maud van der Meer and Femke Heemskerk to silver in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay behind Australia and ahead of the USA in 3: 33.67 minutes.
