Marta Curellich

Marta Curellich ( 1878 in Trieste - February 9, 1967 ) was an Italian opera singer ( mezzo-soprano ).

Life

Curellich made her debut at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice as " Mignon " in the opera by Ambroise Thomas . After that she was engaged at the Trieste Opera House, where she appeared again and again, as "Dalila" in Samson et Dalila by Camille Saint-Saëns , as "Carmen", as "Nancy" in Flotow's Martha and in many other roles.

In 1906 she made her debut role as "Mignon" at the Monte Carlo Opera and in 1907 at the Teatro Comunale Bologna. She has also appeared as an opera singer and concert soloist at several Italian opera houses.
