Martin Böcker

Martin Böcker (* 1958 in Wetter (Ruhr) ) is a German organist .

Life

Böcker studied Protestant church music in Herford (A-exam). He completed his training by studying the organ and harpsichord at the Stedelijk Conservatorium in Arnhem . In 1987 he became a church musician at Ss. Cosmae et Damiani appointed to Stade .

Böcker is a lecturer at the University of the Arts Bremen and artistic director of the Stader Organ Academy . He has given concerts in many European countries and Japan . At the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg he was appointed professor for organ, organ improvisation and organ building.
