Martin Bernreuther

Martin Bernreuther (* 1969 in Waldsassen ) is a German organist .

Bernreuther grew up in Waldsassen and received his organist training there. From 1989 to 1995 he studied Catholic church music with concert organ at the University of Music and Theater in Munich . He graduated with the church music diploma, the artistic diploma and the master class diploma . As a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service , he was in Paris at the Conservatoire de Region . Afterwards he was professor of organ and improvisation at the College of Arts of the Catholic University of Portugal . He also worked at the Frauenkirche in Munich and St. Brigitta and St. Alto in Altomünster . Since 2002 he has been the cathedral organist at Eichstätt Cathedral and organ expert for the Eichstätt diocese . He is also the artistic director of the Saturday concerts in Eichstätter Dom.
